Delaware’s Evolving Rules on Redacting Complaints and Public Challenges to Secrecy

Using a public court to resolve disputes? Confidentiality may be harder to obtain, at least in Delaware Chancery cases. A first of its kind ruling on new Rule 5.1 is out, and on its way up to the Delaware Supreme Court. The chancery court ruling refused most of the parties’ requests for secrecy.
